Dev Blog #41
Hello, comrades!

Today, we continue the topic we started back in October last year in Dev Blog #12 - about what we usually destroy or protect from the air, as well as what can get the pilot in his winged machine. Back then, we showed the vehicles of the "red" side, and today it's the turn of the "blue" side.
Let’s start with the most famous military vehicle of both the Korean War and World War II: the Willys MB, a versatile off-road military utility vehicle.
This all-wheel-drive light vehicle was a real workhorse, proving its practicality and high efficiency. In the game, you’ll see several variants of this vehicle, including those with and without a tarp, as well as with different loads. It can also tow a light single-axle trailer, this being the M100 (250 kg payload), or a rocket launcher, the T66.
The two-axle, ¾-ton Dodge WC 52 (with and without a tarp, carrying soldiers or three types of cargo) belongs to the medium class. The '¾' in its name refers to a payload capacity of ¾ of a ton (680 kilograms).
It will be able to tow a one-and-a-half-ton single-axle M104 trailer (which will have similar loading and appearance options to the towing truck), a Bofors L60 anti-aircraft gun, and a 105 mm M2A1 light howitzer.
In the heavy class is the three-axle all-wheel drive truck of the "blue" side — the GMC CCKW 21/2-ton 6×6. In "Korea," it will feature a modified tarpaulin cab, more typical for this theater of war than the rigid cab in "Great Battles."
There will be different loading options as well; it will be able to tow the same objects as the Dodge WC52, plus a 155 mm M1A1 heavy howitzer, and, at the limit of its capabilities, a 90 mm M2 anti-aircraft gun. There will also be an airfield refueling tanker based on it.
You will also see the Dodge WC54 ambulance and its unmarked variant.
The category of special vehicles also includes the U-7144T 5-ton tractor, specially recreated by us for towing the F2 trailer and the auto-train scheme often used in the conditions of the airfield: a U-7144T pulled the F2 semi-trailer, to which was attached a special single-axle bogie with a saddle, to which was attached another F2. This will also be in the game.
The third type of special vehicle will be the M6 Speed Tractor, which will tow such super-heavy guns as the 155 mm Long Tom, the 203 mm M2 8-inch gun, and the 120 mm M1 anti-aircraft gun.

At the end of today's post, we would like to mention that the detailed history of all these vehicles, along with their technical specifications and appearance, will be available to view directly in the game in the new "Museum" mode, as covered in the 35th blog entry.
